- I wrote this after a couple months of The Donald. Since then, things haven't got any better.....a lot of people are still "in the tank"....
- "Well, let's think about this some. Not a lot because it doesn't take a lot. This little episode of being "in the tank" for someone is, well, how to say it other than obvious. For those who don't know, the expression comes about -
- "In the 19th century, Americans called swimming pools "tanks" and thus "go into the tank" was synonymous with "to dive." As far back as the 1920s, the phrase go into the tank became associated with intentionally losing a boxing match by diving onto the canvas and pretending you've been knocked out—a sense perfectly illustrated by this sentence from a 1928 New York Times article: "Pansy came out of jail and his manager, thinking him 'all washed up,' signed him up to 'take a dive,' or, more technically, 'to go into the tank' for a bird named Sailor Gray."
- You see, Judge Janine went "in the tank" for the Donald as he sought to rid himself of
Speaker Ryan. Ryan didn't do as promised so it is time for him to go. He (Ryan) has his own style of a "war on poverty" (going to war AGAINST the poor instead of combating poverty); past that there is nothing whatsover that is either good or human about this sluggo. His "hey I love ya' man" exterior hides a bully and a monumental self-server who is just a little bit from the presidency.....just two doors down.
- It appears that unless Ryan really plays ball and produces, Trump and Pence will feel the hot fires of impeachment.....and who shall succeed them into office? Gasp! Paul Ryan. They (Trump and Pence) need to either get Ryan to block and tackle for them or they need to replace him with someone who will.
- You heard it here first. This is the reason Judge Janine dove in the tank and took a dive for Donald. "The obvious reason is often the most correct".
