Curiosity

I can't figure it out - well, yes I can but it makes me think some.

There are any number of curiosities in life. Why people do what they do, things happen the way we can't predict, living too long or too little.

So for all you Inspector Clouseau types out there, here ya' go:

1.  How did this happen, and
2.  How did the coin wind up "heads"?

I'm waiting.  The curiosity is killing me.
