Letting it slide a bit

Actually not.   I'm about a 1/3 way with the rewrite of my screenplay draft...it is awful but getting better. Half the garage got cleaned out leaving 80% to do something with (yes I get the math).  New gutters are on the house.  Grand kids have come and gone and fond memories persist.

I've got old time radio on the MS player and having the time of my life.  I want so much to curl up on my living room floor, tomato soup and egg noddles in the kitchen, parents talking, sister flirting with someone, brother out in the alley behind the house playing kick the can and I have the Lone Ranger all to myself.
