Just in case you wanted to know, since I'm in Boston, J.P.Sousa composed "The Fairest of the Fair" in 1908, intending the Sousa Band to perform it at the annual Boston Food Fair in the fall of that year. He wrote it in July. This is August.
No matter. It is a good march although I don't get the food fair part but - hey, I'm easy.
