I've seen the "father" of this poor bird in our local village and have written about him in the past (bury the silver)... and thankfully there is an order of protection out that keeps him away from her not that the damage hasn't already been done.
The girl has a problem to put it mildly. She has a talent that others see perhaps more than I do but that is more me than she. But right now it is a problem that is wrecking her life and that is a pity, Lohan or not.
I have kids and they have kids. These grand kids are perfect and uncluttered by those around them. So far so good. They of course have to socialize and learn social skills but with that comes "with whom". My kids are careful about who they associate with that involves their kids and rightfully so. We are the company we keep and perhaps that, in a nutshell, is Lindsay's root problem. She has bad friends.
It of course started with bad parents who lived off her talent and still try to do so. But then, if the story is true, she has 30 days in the slammer to figure out who is good for her and who isn't. Someone of course gave her the cocaine which showed up in a random drug screening. Someone who knew of her plight, her court order (even I knew of that) to abstain, and above all someone who knew of her addiction issues and gave her cocaine anyway.
That isn't a friend. That is a monster and Lindsay seems surrounded by these demons. I'm not excusing her in the least. I'm just writing that there is more to this and the importance of stability in association is high up on a list of contributing factors or lack thereof.
Get well kid. No one deserves this.
