Even on this glorious Saturday, with granddaughters in tow to the village green for an Easter Egg hunt, special steaks for grilling tonight, robins everywhere and all the stuff that comes with spring...well State is playing tonight and my years there were memorable and more than pleasant...actually with dear friends from now decades of rememberance and all good. We haven't aged a minute.
I was in the band (actually president in 1968-69) and going to the football and basketball games, playing
the fight song and
alma mater..recognize the Verdi? (these are the recordings we made in the late 60s that are still the gold standard at MSU)...well it is special and makes me all teary eyed. GO STATE.
