Gustav Holst wrote a fine work for orchestra titled the Planets in the years 1914-1916 or about the time that England was in the midst of a war that was costing the Europe and a lot of other countries a sizable portion of their male populations. The second movement is "Venus - the bringer of Peace". As we start to move toward some sort of new stand off with Korea, let's just take a moment.
