Route Roots

This was my daily route from home to high school.  My parents told me on a regular basis how lucky I was to really get to know my way, figure out shortcuts, see friends, and have some regularity.

Later in my life I commuted by railroad to NYC ... 2.5 hours each way, 5:25am leaving, 8:15 home.  22 years of that. I could look out the window and know where I was and how much time was left.

We have all had repetitive routes in our roots.  Care to share?
