After a day like Thursday, what with stress tests, an endless trip to NYC and back, a fall and injury, ERs, and whatnot, a Friday morning, with as much done as can be done led to a brunch that, well, was most welcome.
We know the owner/chef from the day he opened his doors...first customer so to speak and not only is the food (East Mediterranean) wonderful but the general "feel" of the place is a tonic.
How does a place feel is the point here..not the stressful day or the smell of a great kitchen, but the comfort and safe-feeling one gets when in that bubble.
We/I/You need to find these places and visit often as time permits. Just a thought.
