A bit ago a little news flash popped up on Yahoo saying to the effect that Annette, one of the original Mousketeers had passed from Multiple Sclerosis.  Truth is that she died 2 years ago and the news spot was an MS awareness ploy, not that in the case of MS should that be considered a negative.

I was about 8 when the Mickey Mouse Club show began with its "adventure land and anything can happen days".  It coincided with The Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday nights and the construction of Disneyland south of LA.

The Mouseketeers all could sing and dance and go through sketches for what passed for acting. I don't really remember much of it other than a recurrent embedded episode about "Tim and Marty" with (and this is from memory mind you and NO I won't look it up) David Stollery, Tim Considine and Annette Funicello.

That was about half a century ago you little Mouseketeers.  Annette's star on the Hollywood walk of fame is the title of this thread.
