Jackie Lynn Taylor, the girl in Our Gang, died the other day at age 88 and 11 months. I never was a big fan of the Our Gang shorts as they were a bit before my time and mostly I just didn't get it. It will suffice that they were pretty freely ad-lib'd by a bunch of smart and talented kids portraying the typical poor kids of the 30's.
Jackie had a nice career after Our Gang, hosting morning talk shows all over California. She seemed like a very good egg. Very good indeed.
