Rand Paul...paging Dr. Paul

Rand Paul and his adoring partial person
of a  wife and
his current raison d'ete
One of my heros, Maureen Dowd wrote a very useful
column  this morning, one that should be tacked up
on every refrigerator  in all voting households with
women occupants - well with men as well.
Seems Rand Paul, the eye-doc from Kentucky is going
after Hillary Clinton because 1. he wants to be president
and 2. doesn't want her to be president, and it seems
(#3.) Dr. Paul will say just about anything that comes
into his squirrely brain in order to  achieve #1 and #2.
You can read it from the link above.  I can't stand this
guy so I won't go back. I did take one small quote out
of it for your reading pleasure and to make my point:

"Asked about McCaskill’s assertion that he (Dr. Paul)
doesn’t “get” that women want birth control, Paul
replied “I’ve never met a Republican who was against
birth control or who thought that somehow we would
try to prevent women from having birth control.”
Hmmm."
I know that is crazy and a lie.  You know it is. The
whole world knows it is.  However, Dr. Paul just
up and said it and it hit Fox News and Rush and
Hannity and now it is a"gospel" Tea Party talking
point as Dr. Paul intended.
Bill Clinton was a womanizer. We got that.  Hillary
Clinton, however, isn't Bill Clinton and the most
condescending thing anyone can say to or about
women is that they are somewhat joined at the
hip with "their man", that they aren't individuals
with pluses and minuses on their own and that
by marriage they are saddled with the sins of the
significant other.  To Dr. Paul's thinking, women
are only partial beings and they are filled out so
to speak by the man.
I think that the only thing worse than a lying politician
 is....is....OK. I'm stumped.
