This is Glenn Beck reviving his stellar role as Captain Insano |
It appears that he showed up on Faux Noise the other day and apologized for his divisive remarks made previously as "the American people were not strong enough to comprehend the truth". I get it. We didn't like what he said because we are too weak to confront the message. Got it.
Mr. Beck went on to attack this fella Nye (the science guy) for taking a shot against creationism and creationist science. Beck played a clip of video in which Nye tells creationists that it’s “fine” if they want to live in an alternate reality, but begs them, “Don’t make your kids do it.”
Beck tosses out a "just like Galileo" as a defense of creationism. We rush to remind Beck that Galileo was persecuted by the church for offering up science rather than dogma but I'm not sure that arrow would pierce Beck's cast iron skull.
