Unemployment Benefits

I've decided to work only
when Congress is in Session

The extension of unemployment benefits past the normal 26 weeks ended this weekend. You could call Congress and ask them to reconsider but they are on break.

That makes 239 days Congress has been on break this year. Lucky for us.

Congress's job approval rating is 9%.

So let's get this straight.  You have an employee who is "off" from work for 8 months, shows up every now and then and does nothing you want, and of those who "hired" him, only 9% think he/she is doing a good job.

The reaction is to cut unemployment at Christmas time.
