I wrote this yesterday and failed to publish it.

When I was a student for a time at Valparaiso University, a Lutheran school, Gaudete Sunday was the signal for holiday break as our term finals were in January.  The concert in Memorial Chapel took place on that Saturday night before and our final service with all students was on the next morning...we

Gaudete Sunday is the third one in the Advent season. It had the best music too.
