I'm not going all political on you but...

Eric Holder, the Attorney General and
the new target of the lunatic right wing.

This is our Attorney General.  He is the chief law enforcement officer in the US. The President isn't. The President is the Commander and Chief of the Armed Forces and NOT the the head of law enforcement. That both parts of the executive are held by black men - and this is what is going on - is just more than a few crackers can understand. It isn't political - it is just nasty.

The name Obama makes a certain segment of the hard right salivate. Toss in Eric Holder, the Attorney General and they simply go bonkers. Must be some visceral thing.

A few wags now want to impeach Holder. They can't get Obama so they are going after Holder.  They will circle on Sibelius but she is white and a woman so sits farther down the list.

If certain members of Congress could
"set things right..."

Make no mistake. This impeachment stuff is racial at its core.  If you have lived in any discriminatorily charged geography you can spot this type of behavior - the hard right in the House of Representatives - a mile away. If these gangsters weren't in Congress they would be perched on a wooden chair out in front of some hardware store, feet up, all snarly and livid cause some black guy drank out of the public fountain in the square across the street.

Now they have a black President and Attorney General and the good old days down on the plantation are threatened.
