How light works

I kinda know but not very well.

Richard Feynman has been in the news of late (he died a couple decades back) as the key character in the Discovery Channel's "Challenger Investigation". He has and always will be a personal hero.

I went to a series of public lectures at Cal Tech some years back. Physics intrigues me; particularly the easy stuff and the math it relates to.  Feynman made great sense of it.  More important, he could explain it in two ways; the scientific way so that his co-scientists could understand, and the dumb-fool way so I could "get it".

He didn't see things in black and white or in color. He just saw what he knew and what he could only imagine that was waiting to be known.
