OMG what a dimwit

I'm just using Sean as a model dimwit. Dimwits abound about now. In this instance, the topic is Syria.

He was stumped for a reason why Syria used chemical weapons and came up with the answer that the President was too stupid to have drawn a line in the sand and they were calling our bluff. Similarly, he was freaked out that we were telling Syria where we would strike them; telegraphing our punches so to speak.

In case you didn't get it, the Syrian use of chemical weapons was a show (to the Western World) that

1. they have them
2. they will use them on anyone - even kids
3. and they can deliver them locally

In turn, we told the Syrians where we would strike because

1. we have the weapons
2. we are totally unafraid of using them
3. and we could give location, day, time, second of the launch and the landing and there isn't anything that the Syrians can do to stop it. Not a thing. Zip. Not a prayer.

This entire exercise is just an exchange of calling cards.  It may turn out to be more but it is entirely not a demonstration of our weakness.
