Well what can I say.

Scene of pancakes and omelets.
The big roller coaster at Coney Island opened up 129 years ago Sunday. First one.

Today, 128 years ago the Statue of Liberty arrived in pieces from France.  I've always liked the picture of the torch in Washington Square Park, in New York.

Yesterday was Father's Day and we all went to the Coronet Restaurant for omelets and pancakes.

Yes a whopper of a weekend, then and now.

Let's celebrate. Manhattan Beach March (the beach next to Coney Island and you can see Liberty from there as well - perhaps better before the buildings)
