Triology of the Day

F.J. Haydn at 60 in 1792
While I'm on "old stuff", I just heard a work by Haydn, the Austrian Composer, written in 1761.  It is correctly called "Le Matin" (the morning) and it is his 6th of 104 symphonies. I can't remember the last time I heard it. Hey, he wrote 104 of them, can't remember my name some days....

The 6th, 7th and 8th are called his "trilogy", all written in 1761 and all for his new employer, the Esterhazy Court.  Nice gig. Nice listening.

#6 in D Major "Le Matin (Morning)"
#7 in C Major "Le Midi (Noon)"
#8 in G Major "Le Soir (Evening)"

This should cover the main parts of your day.
