When we were kids and before that Red Box that sits in front of 7-11 and chucks out movie rentals for a buck, our Saturday entertainment was the 10am matinee at the local theater, all chock full of serials and westerns...
On very brave mornings there would be a sci-fi scary movie but only if your parents didn't know it was on. Otherwise, no go.
On days like this we were confined to our rec-room with a black and white TV. I'll give you a sampling. Put some popcorn in the microwave and pull up a chair.....
