Wow are we conditioned. We hear bells and we think of Christmas and Santa and all things Rudolf.
I was pawing through my CDs ( I will NOT give into an i-Pad and if I could manage 33&1/3 vinyls I would) putting together some gifts for the unsuspecting, and played the last movement of Mahler's 4th symphony that is loaded with bells. The words all deal with things in heaven and the bounty of that feast plus St. Peter for good measure. Hardly Christmas music.
But then again, it sooths, gives some hope, and really is pretty. Flip it off if you can't stand it but on the off chance it rings your bells, enjoy.
