I really like this part of Advent - when we step aside a bit and recognize that more than one great religion has an observance and there is room for everyone in this little ship of state.I get tired of the War on Christmas nonsense. Our Village had a lighting of the menorah the other night and it was in a Village full of lights - both for Hanukkah and Christmas and from a mile up there isn't a whit of difference....actually you can get a lot closer.Anyway, enough of my rant, I just think of the "We Three Kings..." song...you know..star of wonder star of light...westward leading...and then I think of the O'Henry short story. Here it is. Kids might get something from it as well. Night.
