This blur is all the ink or electrons I'll give to the Penn State story. I would hate to be a parent and look at this mob of completely out of touch students and recognize my kid. I would dis-own them on the spot.

Paterno, the Penn State coach, was fired last night after something like half a century. The root reason is that a former member of his staff was sexually abusing kids and Paterno was told about it years back and just passed the buck and the good old boy network kicked in and the huge correction to the situation was that they took away the pervert's keys to the University athletic facility.  Now Paterno is "devasted" by the news. News.  NEWS.

Well Joe, you senile son of a bitch, at one point you had a choice. You could have called the cops or you could have passed the buck. You passed the buck and when nothing happened you did nothing. YOU DID NOTHING.
