Two boats. Not one funny one. I presume that this is what can be described as dead still calm.
It was cold enough for ice to form the other morning - air wise - but not so in the water but it is just not time yet.
I found a picture from about 1910 or earlier in the local library and looking at the land in the background, the morning light helps mark two white buildings up on the heights - one square and the other oblong. There is something amazing about the still of dawn and the water - our bay or a lake someplace. It just seems right.
