Angelina Jeanette Mouseling

A little while back (a dozen years plus in fact) grandparents met up with Angelina the dancing mouse.  To our delight, certain granddaughter types were enthusiastic followers and we have been treated to what we would consider to be a movement ever since.

In a cartoon era devised to morph kids into video games and what Skinner called "mindless, episodic excitement" comes this mouse who dances and goes to a school (happily) that is all about creativity and artistic expression, seemingly void of violence of any kind whatsoever, and featuring families that really care and kids who care back.

The two mouselings above have great and caring parents who are endlessly supportive of creativity.  They are both plenty smart so the math and science stuff will come into them like drinking water so that is not to worry.  Creativity and appreciation of it; the essence just being as natural as baby's breath in their lives, is a great gift.

Ms. Angelina paid and played a visit in a town nearby and their parents made the necessary arrangements and off they went ears and all.  We know that they know that Angelina is not real but neither is ballet or art in general. It is more than real and they clearly get it.

Oh happy day.
