Mr. Madoff Speaks Out

Well we got a little missive from Bernie Madoff the other day.  He was pretty hot and bothered about being sentenced to 150 years - calling it a "virtual life sentence".  This is Bernie's home for the rest of his life.

Hey Bernie. Everyone is 5 degrees of separation from your handiwork.  One of my great friends from high school has a sister who lives in Boca - or did - until she put her money with you and now is homeless and bound for Israel to live with her brother because she has nothing left. NOTHING.  You have a cell. She has nothing.  Her money - well you spent it or gave it to someone else to keep them quiet.  But she is 62 and without a penny and homeless. You miserable SOB, you took her money and you might as well have put a gun to her head.

Virtual life sentence?  Nawww Bernie. It's a death sentence...it will just take a while to be carried out...get over it.
