The snow is out there and it has been reduced to ice in most places. The rest of it looks something like a snow cone without the flavoring.
Have you noticed that winter doesn't really smell like anything? Such a difference between now and late summer - or early spring for that matter. We are right on the water - ocean - bay and there was the barest hint of the water coming to life the other day...we could smell the salt....but no life yet..soon though ... and in the evening....night perhaps....perfumes...
