There is a star cluster in the zodiac sign called Praesepe which is a little beehive of stars - perhaps 100 or more - that is often referred to as the "manger"....a little birthplace perhaps. It seems that way looking at it in the cold winter sky. You can see it now at night if you bundle up enough to do it.
Part of advent is patience. There is a big deal Christian event coming in a couple weeks and, like sleepless kids on Christmas Eve unless you go to sleep and let the time pass, you will be staring at the clock every few seconds waiting for dawn. Same with star gazing. Be patient. The stars aren't going anywhere. They are just waiting for you to discover them.
