Pigs at the trough

I wanted to call this picture I'm fat and your not? because, if you take the link, the GOP in an effort to put the fiscal house in order prior to the Tax Extension for the wealthy debate, has stalled and probably killed a healthy food, school lunch program;  the sum essence of which is not only expanding the scope of subsidized school lunches but making them of healthier, "better nutritionally", foods. All this from a side of the aisle made up of fat guys who never missed a meal.

With a record percentage of households on food stamps because they are means tested and can't afford to eat properly and with child obesity at record levels, I guess it makes no sense to these guys to help kids eat better and at a place that we all know where they are and, as the urban fiction clung to by the FAT FAR RIGHT, safe from the clutches of mom's who convert food stamps to put gas in their Cadillacs.  This isn't just wrong. It is mean spirited and greedy.

Every American's skin should just crawl with the prospect of these craven SOBs in charge of things.  Keeping on our present course, I think we can assume a television commercial will appear in China someday soon very much like the Christian Children's Fund - with a helpless and hapless starving child, living in the street, begging for food - and it being filmed in Detroit.
