"I am not a crook"

Lord knows that Ms. O'Donnell is a very expansive target if you own a set of darts and all that.  Actually in some sort of perverse way I find her entertaining.  Like that gadfly in Nevada and the strange one from Alaska, there is a fascination that follows those who seem to have become unbolted from their Frankenstein tables.

It appears that we might be reading a lot about Ms. O'Donnell in the coming weeks and months.  I'm sure by now she is lawyered up or should be and one person that she might care to listen to would be counsel - other than Frau Sarah egging her on. 

I'm generally sympathetic (not on thier side but my oh my it is an uphill battle once started)  toward folks on the wrong end of the legal stick - particularly concerning trouble with the Feds.  Good attorneys will almost always tell folks who are under investigation to "keep your mouth shut".  Unfortunately for those with nothing to say anyway, this is a very hard sell.  You see, Christine makes here living, as does Sarah, with her mouth - running it off, laying off things on others, vilifying, demonizing - and, coupled with a heavy dose of self importance, figures that big deal politicians are so fixated on her that they must be doing this to keep her down.

Truth is no one really cares about her or her politics or her future in politics.  She had her moment in the sun and that sun has set.   No one got her into this bonfire but her and no one really cares either.
