Hey. I got an idea.

With all the issues on the table, the GOP is running to a lynch mob for guidance. Dick Armey, the man with no clue is the subject of a WSJ editorial this morning as he gives "guidance" to the incoming GOP.  NPR, ObamaCare, Tax cuts for the Rich seem mysteriously to leap to the top of every GOP pile.  Now the tactic, since these items are, incidentally, fairly popular with the people (except for tax cuts for the zillionaires - which only 2% seem to think they can't do without - the same 2% who would get the cuts) INCIDENTALLY, is it any surprise that congress and the senate are made up primarily of that 2%...??

How about this?  If you want to give tax cuts cut spending first and you can have tax cuts that offset the spending cuts. Do it the other way around. Don't cut taxes and look for spending cuts because what will happen is that the wolves will descend on the flock of poor sheep and slaughter the least among us. Hey if you don't have a lobbyist who can give you money, then what good are you?

It is a serious question. Let these wolves figure out a way to cut first before they do anything with taxes.  The GOP gave the rich a 10 year free ride and it resulted in nada except more money for the rich.  They had their chance and they blew it on something dumb.  Now is the time to get smart.

OH and I got a comment that the lower 50% don't pay any taxes so why give them a cut.  That is just silly. They pay out on every paycheck. At year's end they file for a refund.  Nearly NONE of that lower 50% itemize and just hope and pray that the standard deduction makes it even or in their favor but don't give me that "the poor don't pay taxes...."...remember Warren Buffett pays taxes at a lower rate than his secretary.

  1. You idiot...50% of the families in the US pay no income taxes at all.... who is getting the free ride????...take your socialist agenda to somewhere else, or "put it where the sun don't shine"...

  2. if the lower 50% "pay no taxes" give them a little extra in the paycheck and reduce the tax rate they pay. They won't get as much back at the end of the year but they will have more to spend all along the time.

I'm not an idiot. Your momma!
