Wow - what a critic

Well James J. Lee seems to be a rather severe critic of the Discovery Channel. So much so that he entered headquarters, gun in hand to register his complaint.

The other networks of course went wall to wall coverage as this was great.  Headlines blared "Discovery Network programming upsets man, hostages held".

I've got a lot of good friends at Discovery and at one point it really was a marvelous network.  It still brands itself better than anyone and its offerings are far past the Discovery/The Learning Channel duo of 15 years ago.  Of late, however, particularly since they went "public", there is a lot more vanilla than normal and its a shame.

Not worth pulling a pistol over but a shame non-the-less.
