I like John Williams, the guy who writes movie scores. Some of the stuff from Harry Potter is just great writing, fun to listen to, and helps move the story along - what would the movies be without the music - well they would be theatrical plays on film, just as ballet is a motion picture without words...well you get the idea.
One thing is that William's music is "orchestrated" so well - that is he uses the instruments in the orchestra - strings, winds, brass, percussion to huge effect...and when you think that his work must be reproduced as if the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra or the Boston Pops was playing it - well think again.
