Nimrod

A british composer, Edward Elgar wrote a theme and variations called "Enigma Variations" and one of the movements is very famous - subtitled Nimrod - and supposedly in rememberance of a friend named Jager (german for "hunter") and if you remember your bible the Nimrod there was a hunter and protector.

It is remarkably pretty, serene and sentimental.  It is part of the British Remeberance Day program (11/11 at 11am).
