It has been an interesting couple of days for those who follow all things Korea and our Mr. Kim, supreme and anointed one. First a boatload of his state "art" shows up in an exhibit in Vienna - much to the howl and mirth of the western world. I spent a lot of time in Russia which also had "art" influenced by men of exceedingly poor taste so I wasn't as shocked as many...but well Kim's stuff is awful.
Second, he appears to have nuclear weapons and very little regard for 1. his people 2. other people and 3. doesn't mind using them as a tool to bully the rest of us. Seems we tread lightly around him because, well he is insane and doesn't seem to mind the idea that if push comes to shove, real or imagined, he'll set one off. When you are dealing with someone who appears to have both the patience and sensibility of a 3 year old, all sorts of things can happen.
