Hi Earl...where are you going?

This is Earl..our latest hurricane. It also appears to want to show up on our doorstep or some one's doorstep from Hatteras northward.

We haven't had one here in a long time and the last one of any note was around Labor Day almost twenty years ago. The forecast is for this to be a Cat 3 (hurricane "speak" for biggie) by Friday night when our fate will be determined.

Everything is kinda in place for this to come here rather than out to sea like Danielle.  In fact, at the beach this morning, there was a nice east wind and huge surf and that east wind will continue due to Danielle which will help push Earl to the west or block it from going east. Pretty exciting.
