This is Chris Cox (the endomorph on the left being endorsed by a politician from Brookhaven, NY - where indictments for racketeering fall like confetti from the sky).
I'm not a fan of this character. I rather liked his grandfather, Richard Nixon, although he tried very hard to restore the monarchy in the United States and did some things that caused the populace to launch a real mini-revolt. What people like Chris Cox don't get is that the Tea Party is basically about money - as in "I've got mine and I ain't sharing it". OK. But that isn't let's revolt in the streets type of stuff. That is election stuff. Fair, unrigged elections. Go for that.
What prior revolts had and in particular during his grandfather's ill-fated terms in office, was a government that simply lied to the people. When asked they lied. They threw patriots under the bus so to speak. They broke laws right and left.
A few nights and 36 years ago I was conducting Annie Get Your Gun in a 19th century playhouse on the Ohio River. We stopped the show and piped in on the speaker system Richard Nixon announcing that at "noon tomorrow I will resign the presidency". He probably saved the country from revolution of a real kind. Not the bullshit that this guy preaches.
