Claves are something you starting hitting to make kind of a "click" like sound when you are in kindergarten. Listen for them here...you won't loose their sound no matter. Playing an instrument that 'anybody can play' is a test of nerves trust me. I played in an orchestra for a concert once and the piece didn't have a trumpet part so they moved me over to play triangle (ring ring ring). I clearly remember that I had to tap it 7 times total. I nearly died of nerves.
