There are artists in history and each has a place, their place, from which they speak, compose, write, draw, paint, dance and all the other creative things that we humans do. Shakespeare has a special part in this for me.
I had one English Lit professor long ago who was crusty, devoted and a scholar. He knew his stuff and what he didn't know he found out. He was my first brush with an historian from Hell. "What is your source for that observation sir????" was his battle cry and he used it daily some 45 years ago.
We take the process of creation of enduring art all too lightly here. We don't give them credit enough or ourselves enough credit for the art we enjoy. Enjoy this one.
