As meager as the financial reform package is, it was by far a mild pill for the community to swallow. What? Banks are supposed to get back to banking?
Just so you know, banking as 'we" understand it, is a money looser. ALL the profits in the big banks are made on their trading desks....otherwise they would be in the red and in big numbers.
We can only conclude that banks are no longer run by bankers but by wall street trader types ... if that is your "big deal' then you go with it. That takes us out of the relationship that we thought was part of the local friend loan officer at the local bank.
Now if everyone will just come clean....
