Now that the Tea Party has tossed out the Tea Party Express we would hope that the remnants of this wild-eye looney bin would slip back off center stage to the anonymity so richly deserved. I doubt that will happen. There rings a belief all over that President Obama is a socialist. It has been the great whisper campaign success of the decade. He isn't of course nor is our government tipping toward socialism but it is a sound bite and nearly 40% of this country now believes its leadership is dedicated to it.
