Two sides to the musical coin

There is something heartening about a band...military band, college band, any band...not the ones with guitars and drum sets that look like mushroom farms but just the good old 3rd period band. Holst (Gustav) was an English composer and wrote some dashing stuff which you probably recognize (The Planets - here is Venus...the most radiantly beautiful space music and go watch Apollo 13 again and you can hear snipets) and some you won't like this First Suite for Military Band.  Almost no one knows the piece except for just about anyone who played in a high school band or above.
