I looked around for some good news on this Tuesday morning. In fact, I got up at 430 to start my search - to be honest there were some geese going at it in the marsh outside our window and they are pretty loud.

I'm sad to report there is no good news this morning. Some jerk from South Carolina referred to the President as a "towel head". Goldman Sachs isn't cooperating with the commission appointed to look at them, BP is into more PR mischief in the Gulf - with the spill rate looking to be in the half million gallons a day range AFTER they partially capped it, someone did the numbers on unemployment and it is likely to be between 17 and 19%...gosh were to start.

Oh, Liz Cheney was on the air a lot in the last two days. She reported that her father and Mr. Bush "had nothing to do with anything going on here" and that there were people playing the blame game - then promptly laid all this at Mr. Obama's feet while "not playing the blame game".   I'm going back to bed.
