La damoiselle élue - Happy Mother's Day

Well, its not yet 6am and the stores open in a minute for those of us who had full Saturdays with kids and grandkids and need to get there to get the Sunday Times and a bunch of flowers for Mother's Day

Debussy wrote La damoiselle élue (thats the start...here are the other 2 parts (2  3 -the last being some of the sublimely beautiful music ever) really early in his career.  Most people haven't heard it and it is pretty much unknown to even those who like this kinda thing.  Anyway, if you can find it online, which is pretty easy, or on a record, play it while you bring her breakfast in bed. Tell her she is your blessed damoiselle. It is her day.
