The Oklahoma legislature has passed some abortion related laws, one detailed in the NYTimes this morning and a somewhat milder take but factual nonetheless (I did check EVERY source) on the CNN site.
So let me get this straight. You are a woman who seeks an abortion in Oklahoma. You have to have an ultrasound to hear the heatbeat and see the fetus even though at 2 months you get a glob. Then the doctor doesn't have to tell you if the fetus has a birth defect or anything...he is legally exempt from withholding any information. He can't be sued for mal-practice or violating his oath. Nope.
I don't get it. YOu have these "anti-big government" shitheads (sorry, but I'm mad) who want everything in government limited, now regulating a woman's life and body..in the most instrusive and personal way. The government is applying the ultrasound here by law. You get to fill out forms about your life and race etc....not "get to" but HAVE TO.
I would like to take each of those Oklahoma Legislatures and force them to answer a few questions...as in, did you stop at BillyBobsBar on the way home yesterday and toss back a couple before you drove home? How about a visit to Ms. Nancy's house of pleasure? Did you beat you wife or simply ignore her?
Now that Oklahoma, now 49th and sinking to 50th in citizen healh, has this group of meddling fools running the place I guess the safety of the dust bowl is preserved.
