Space City...   Now that the shuttle is all but over after 30 years of oooohhs and ahhhhhs and sobs and O-rings and Titusvile Florida is soon to be memory lane.  I'm a bit distressed that 1 AIG is equal to 10 years of NASA and I fear our priorities are badly skewed that we would have to make that decision and that a decision like that had to be made. Anyway, now we are trapped here on Earth with little chance of having another view like this in our lifetime...remembering of course that this view is about 40 years old and the shuttle advance simply put us in near earth orbit rather than take us outward. Now we await Virgin Galactic Airlines to give us the thrills we need as humans.  Listen to Venus sing to us.
