There was a time when I was growing up and was about 6 in Dayton, Ohio (don't ask but 70+ years ago!). At 6pm every Sunday night (as we didn't have a TV yet) we gathered at the dinning room table, my sister, brother and me and my parents and had tomato soup with egg noddles (my dad's favorite so he said) and on came the radio with The Shadow, Suspense, Sgt. Preston of the Yukon (a personal fav - and i did by that 1 sq. inch of the Yukon and still have the deed)...then the Fibber Maggie and Molly, Burns and Allen etc. a hog heaven of imagination.

On Saturday mornings at 10 there was a radio show called Don McNeill’s Breakfast Club that we always listened to. I loved these radio shows.
