Now who says Google doesn't have a sense of humor???

So its Sunday morning and the TV commentary is all hot and bothered about President Obama being off in Hawaii on vacation.  A nearly successful terrorist attack and Mr. President is 5000 miles away.  Of course, some wags on other blogs have gone to Google maps and I urge you to do so and ask for directions between Washington, DC and Hawaii.  (http://maps.google.com/) (hint: Honolulu, Hawaii).  It is a geek laugh riot of sorts.

I am reminded of course of President Bush's vacation just before 9-11 (you can google bush, 1 month vacation) and I remember the outcry over that but that was a month and we were attacked when it was over. 

Do terrorists really keep track of such things?
