MacBeth with fewer witches

There of course wasn't a lot of good news last night.  Of the three republican Harpies, two lost and the Harpies in chief's MacBethian prophecies didn't work out too well. and perhaps now her kingmaker crown doesn't fit as tightly. She will claim Rand Paul and the Pennsylvania fellow. Unfortunately she will have to claim the nitwit in South Carolina, Nikki Haley the new govenor. I'm not sure what further damage she can do a state that is already screaming to be first to regain the middle ages but she can sure try.She can't do a thing about loses in California, Nevada, Delaware and it appears in her home state of Alaska.

I watched Boehner make his teary speech about his American dream, one that saw a rather obscure light get in line third to be president if the tragedy happens.  That alone - the "beware Macduff" of all time - is enough to send our President MacBeth into safe haven and his fair lady mad with anger.

The real tragedy is that with the way things are now, a vast deflation - letting of the air out of the safety mattress - was heard and those among us who are most vulnerable to the wrath of the super rich, are now looking to take a shot squarely on the jaw.  Like all conservatives past, this gaggle will start today screaming about "self reliance" and the best thing that government can do is force people into hardships greater than they are in so they will be better for it. That is certainly great news going into a cold winter with record food prices (ours are up 18% since June).

I'm pretty mad at Mr. Obama for the way he ran things and how badly his team got the word out.  I'm not thrilled that the Tea Party got three senate seats and that Boehner feels entitled.  It might work out in the end but the next two years are a train wreck about to happen and that makes me pretty nervous.
